Bar
code industry wins case against Lemelson
A great
parallel to the Acacia Saga about suing end users.
last paragraph:
"Some companies that have already paid fees to the Lemelson
Foundation might have a claim to get their money back if they can
prove they were fraudulently induced to pay, or if they specified
they were paying in protest subject to the outcome of the Symbol/Cognex
litigation. "
buh-bye.

I am beginning to track issues on US Patent Office Reform as well
as European Patent Reform.
Europe is preparing major changes in its patent system. The European
Patent Office (EPO) has proposed to remove limitations on patentability,
such as the exclusion of computer programs in Art. 52 of the European
Patent Convention (EPC).
Below are some links that I am using to do my research. Please feel
free to email me,
or provide feedback to me on links to other
articles.
